The possessed Mia is then attacked by the possessed Eric, who then proceeds to rip Mia’s body open and drain her of her blood. Mia, in turn, flings herself at the possessed Eric, which then proceeds to bite off his face off. Eric then falls to the ground and lies still. Mia, now possessed by Eric, then has the possessed Olivia shoot her in the head. She then turns to the possessed David, who seems to be the most pathetic of the possessed. The possessed David is then brought up against a wall and held there, while the possessed Mia (who now appears to have the possessed Victor's face) moves towards him like a monster. The possessed Mia then proceeds to gouge out his eyes, and then his tongue. The possessed David is then forcefully torn in half. The possessed Eric, who is now back to being a mortal man, cries out in anguish for his dead friends.
The group splits up and it’s up to Jake and David to stop Olivia from killing everyone. As soon as they do, she escapes to a meeting of all the evil entities, and the far out ends begin. The kids successfully make it through the meeting and head back to school. Along the way, their life is turned upside down again when zombies attack. Despite the fact that they outnumber the zombies, they are not completely able to kill them off. They are aided by Jake’s grandmother, who happens to be a necromancer. She makes a deal with the zombies and they all live happily ever after.
It’s a short one, but it’s one of the most brutal and twisted things I’ve seen in a while. I’m glad that it’s over and that The Lazarus Effect is done. I’m hoping that the movie will be good and I’ll be right. I hope it at least comes close to the cult and the God of Evil. Maybe next year, I won’t be so picky.
