Not sure if it has anything to do with it but I just had a incident where all of the torrents of the last 20+ days quit after I rebooted the machine. They would connect, start downloading and then after a few hours of steady downloading some of the files would stop and become corrupt. I know it was not the internet because they were on internal drives and they would download again after restarting. What's strange is I rebooted the machine several times with the external and internal plugged in and then I rebooted it and left them plugged in and they all started working again after a few days of steady downloading.
It's been a while and I am not sure if the issue is resolved or if it is just me. I have also noticed that the settings and profile are gone. I have no idea why this is happening because I never edit the settings. I have read everything I could think of about it and I am still at a loss. I always leave my computer on for a few hours and all of my torrents started working again after I restarted the machine. I am pretty sure it is not the external because I changed the port number and it did not make a difference. I am not sure if it is the network because they work fine the first time but when I reboot and plug them in it usually stops working. I also have noticed that there is a limit of how many connections you can have open at one time. This limit can be between 5-10 before it starts asking for you to limit the number of connections you have open. I have tried to change the number with no luck.
Now I am not sure what is going on with them. I do know it is not the internet because they are internal drives and the the time they stopped working I was downloading them over the internet. I have recently switched to bittorent and I am using the 1.0.5-beta. The rest are still to be tried. I have tried using the 1.0.5-beta but they would start to connect and the download would start but it would stop before the download was complete. I have not tried the 1.0.4-beta or 1.0.3-beta. I also have tried to use the 1.0.4-beta but the same thing happened.
thnx will try, the problem is if the torrent gets into the weird state with proxy enabled and I disable the proxy to download Slackware, it will update the settings and it will work again for some time and since that open source torrent it will get downloaded very fast, I will see if the settings file deletion made any difference. If no will try to put like 10-20 kb/s download limit and download Slackware without proxy.
I have tried everything from removing devices, downloading nothing and retrying. I've even tried logging out and trying to log back in later. Nothing works. I am at a loss. I have no idea why the file will disappear. I don't know if the settings file is deleted or not or what caused it. I tried looking in the settings file and there is nothing that would have caused it to disappear. I am not sure what would cause it but I am at my wits end and need some help. It happened the other day and it is back again. I have tried everything I can think of. I would like to be able to download and seed torrents. I have tried everything I can think of. I have not had any problems the entire time I have had the machine. 827ec27edc
